Dominic DesMarais was raised on a cattle farm between the Minnesota cities of Buffalo, Monticello and Maple Lake. Growing up the youngest of six, with parents who lived through the depression era, gave Dominic "old" values. His father fought in the Pacific theater of World War II, giving him great respect for veterans. The buying and selling of livestock gave him an entrepreneurial spirit that is a value behind everything he is involved in.
